Hey Folks,

Exciting news to share!

We got an incredibly generous offer yesterday from Charisse and Randy Kaufman with LIVES OF PROMISE.

Starting today and over the next two weeks, they want to match — dollar for dollar — up to $5,000 — any contribution made to our STRANGER AT HOME fundraising campaign. We are so grateful to them!

Do the math with me, please — if we raise $5,000 more between June 7th and June 21st, that automatically means $10,000 more is raised, which gets us closer to having enough funds to at least begin production on this important film.

So, we really need your help to make this two week dollar for dollar match happen.

Please, if you haven’t done so already, visit our campaign site. It’s a powerful, real and meaningful presentation —  great video and great rewards for your tax deductible contributions await!

Seriously, if you’ve been waiting to see how we’re doing — please don’t wait any longer. We need your support now.

Your contribution — in whatever amount you can afford (nothing is too small) will be going toward something wonderful, positive and impactful.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts,

Beth

P.S. The Kaufmans had no idea that June 7th was my brother Tim’s birthday. He’d have been 55 years old. It’s a truly perfect day to start the two week push to match funds. He’d have loved that.

Tim, to the shock and devastation of his family and friends, because of an undetected heart condition, left his physical body barely two weeks before the 9/11 event in 2001. At that time, he was a civilian, but he had honorably served his country, in Germany, under the command of Colin Powell. He was a West Point graduate and retired as a Captain in the United States Army. He’d be the first to tell you how much he admired and loved the men and women in his military fellowship, how going through that experience changes one’s life forever.

Being the great adventurer that he was, he always supported and vicariously lived through our filmmaking experiences. If there was anyone more perfectly suited to greet and comfort the souls from September 11th, at the gates of heaven, it was Tim, and he got there in time to do that. He was all about service. He was all about heart. He’s watching over this movie without a doubt.

Here’s a little throwback photo tribute to my brother, Timothy Charles Dolan —  June 7th, 1959 – August 28th, 2001
